BitConverterNToNumericTNumeric(Byte, Int32) Method

Returns a numeric value converted from bytes at a specified position in a byte array. The number of bytes can be obtained from the ConvertedSize method.

Parameters

value Byte: An array of bytes.
startIndex Int32: The starting position within value.

Type Parameters

TNumeric

Return Value

TNumeric
A numeric value formed by bytes beginning at startIndex.

Exceptions

ArgumentException	startIndex is greater than or equal to the length of value plus one, minus the number returned by ConvertedSize, and is less than or equal to the length of value minus 1.
ArgumentNullException	value is null.
ArgumentOutOfRangeException	startIndex is less than zero or greater than the length of value minus 1.
